Cinidy   Kaskey CindyKaskey@yahoo.com Santa Cruz, CA Hi Everyone, I wanted to add my bio after finding this site to read about our recent classmate who passed away. I haven't been back to Ohio since 1980 but seeing the deaths of so many makes me want to put a piece of myself down before I can't anymore. I love reading about all the different paths people have taken. I went to California a week after gradation and got my BFA from California College of Arts. I worked as a teacher and art teacher before traveling the world for 2 years. I met an Aussie in Africa and we moved to Australia where I worked as an art therapist with young people in jail and suffering from mental illness. My two daughters are 22, and nearly 21 and my son is nearly 14, (summer 2013). We are now living in Santa Cruz, (since Aug 2007), where I do more web work as the pay here for art therapists and teachers is pathetic. I try to include as much play into my life as possible. I kayak, bike, hike, dance, hang out with friends and family and attend lots of concerts! (06/28/13)
Kalpana   Murthy kalpana@genuineconnection.com Atlanta, GA Life is great personally and professionally. I'm a psychotherapist and speaker. My business website is www.genuine-connection.com (02/28/10)
Linda Ellis Mapes     I married Tim Ellis (also a 79 graduate) in 1986. We have been married 23 years (in 2009). We have 2 beautiful daughters; Jamie (20) and Samantha (16). I have been (and still am) a stay at home mom until Samantha will graduate high school in 2011. Hi to Lynn Kimball Prince and Laura Long Gardner (friends from 79 class). (12/28/09)
Warren Fox   warren.fox@gmail.com Solana Beach, CA Hi everybody, I had a great time at the 30 year reunion getting to greet and meet some old and new friends. My wife and I are raising two young daughters, age 5 and 7 (in 2009). This is a real treat for me, being a slightly older dad. I may soon reach middle age now. We live in Solana Beach, just north of San Diego. To me, this small city feels a lot like Worthington, excepting the weather of course. I've had the same employer for 20+ years and it continues to be steady work. I get to work with hardware designers to build small gadgets for government customers, generally DARPA. I write the software for these gadgets. I hope we can get together again as a group (big hint here). (07/27/09)
Sara Haynes   sara.l.haynes@hotmail.com Toledo, OH Just found the updates on the site (the day of the reunion!!) yikes!! what a joy to read everyone’s news…so I thought I would submit my (albeit) late update. After graduating 30 (gulp!) years ago, I attended Miami University (along w/ several other WHS grads) and graduated in Systems Analysis. My senior year I realized that a life in computers wasn’t anything I was looking forward to – and I wanted to travel and live elsewhere…enter the Peace Corps…where I taught math for 2 years in Kenya, East Africa. Returned home, and found a Peace- Corps like job working for peanuts at a local bank…it wasn’t a good fit…and I quit and went back to school at OSU. Got my MBA (with an emphasis in Women of Developing Countries….a sure fire degree to fame and fourtune!) and then worked for a non-profit for a year before the lure of the business world pulled me away. I started working at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) in 1990 --- and like gum on your shoe, they can’t get rid of me!! I lived in Grandview and German Village until 2003. I got married late in life at 39 yrs old, in 2000, to a wonderful guy from Toledo Ohio. We were married for 3 years with me living in German Village and he in Toledo until we got pregnant and I moved to Toledo. Sydney was born in June 2003 and just turned 6 yrs old, so I am on the other end of the spectrum of most you…still worrying about 1st grade!!

I am fortunate and work out of my home in Toledo. I have had several jobs in Accenture, but my most recent job as strategic lead for Accenture’s executive assistants is by far my favorite. My husband owns is own flooring and tile business and is happy not to come to tonight’s events!! I look forward to catching up (and even meeting) classmates of ’79. (07/25/09)

Chuck Immell   chuckimmel@aol.com Brussels, Belgium Hello fellow 1979 grads. I look forward to seeing everyone Friday and Saturday, particularly the Wothingway vs. Perry golf competition. A short update on my life... Following graduation from The Ohio State University in 83', I went to work in the medical device industry and moved to Chicago where I met my wife Leslie. We have three boys, Connor (16), Alex (14) and Jeffrey (10). It has been a blast seeing them grow up! My job has led me to different opportunities and we have lived in Tokyo, Los Angeles, Vienna and back to Ohio where we spent the last seven or so years. We recently moved to Brussels to be part of a venture with a European company, but we kept our place in Cleveland where we get to enjoy the great Ohio summers. (07/24/09)
Susan Gregorek   susettamarie@yahoo.com Columbus, OH Since graduation I have lived in Ohio, Pennsylvania and the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. I received my Bachelors in Cultural Anthropology and my Masters in Labor Relations. After working many years for a Textile Workers labor union in Virginia, I came back home to Columbus and have worked for the past 10 years for Franklin County Job and Family Services and also at the Wexner Center for the Arts where I get paid to enjoy movies, theater and dance! I live in Westerville with my man David and our two furry “kids” Bella and Frankie. Cheers to everyone in the class of ‘79, it was great reading all the bios, please feel free to write me. (07/23/09)
Traci Tuthill McGohan traci.tuthill@pps.k12.va.us Portsmouth, VA Since our last reunion - Wow - Still married to Bart for almost 18 years. Finally finished my M.S.Ed. at Old Dominion University. Now have my dream job as a reading specialist in a crazy middle school. Still live in Virginia but spend my summers between Hatteras, NC and Snowshoe Mountain, WV as a woman of leisure. Oldest son Nick 25, will finally graduate from Texas A&M next spring in marine management. He's soaking me on the 8+ year plan. Oldest daughter Alyssa 23, graduated from George Mason with a degree in anthropology (better than the philosophy major she started out with). Youngest son Bartley 14, starts magnet high school for performing arts and humanities in vocal music. He's the one that wants to be a rock n roll star. My extraordinary daughter Maggie 15, survived stage IV Hodgkins Lymphoma after 12 months of chemo/radiation and a life-saving stem cell transplant (OK everyone - say YES to stem cell research!!) and is now a gifted award-winning artist in our state's Governor's School for the Arts. She's been in remission for 3 years and we are extreemly grateful. I have absolutely NO idea where these kids got all this artistic talent - I'm sure you'd agree if you had an art or chorus class with me in school! I look forward to seeing everyone at the reunion. (07/23/09)

Karen Baker   missbaker1@aol.com Powell, OH Oh, my! It's so great to read so many bios. It still amazes me that so many of us live so close, but I still don't run into you at Kroger! After High School, I moved down the street to OSU where I graduated with an Education degree. Had my first teaching job in Chillicothe, but quickly returned to Worthington and taught at St. Michael for about 10 years. Needed to make a better living, so I moved to Columbus Public Schools where I've been for about 14 years. I teach middle school Social Studies and spent many years writing the curriculum guides for 6th and 7th grade. Got my Master's Degree along the way. I spent one year as the Middle School Social Studies coordinator for the entire district (newly created position), only to have them do away with the position the next year. Oh, well. Good while it lasted. Middle Schools are like the lonely step-children, but I've really enjoyed the kids at this level. Ah, memories of Worthingway! I've been able to travel quite a bit to Europe and different places in the US. Enjoy the outdoors very much (WFSI Fever.) Look forward to seeing everyone this Saturday! (07/21/09)
Jeff Caldwell   poolfixr@aol.com Columbus, OH Since leaving high school I attended OSU and then pursued a career in retail management with long stints at McDonald’s and Blockbuster Video. I married my wife, Dawn, in 1985 and have 3 awesome kids; Aaron is a junior at OSU, Alex is senior at Centennial High School, and Megan is entering the world of middle school. Alex was born with spina bifida and has endured 30 surgeries which brought with it many challenges, as well as many blessings. We still live in northwest Columbus and are very active in our church. In the mid 90s, I fell into a job in the pool and spa service business and at age 40, started my own company: Endless Summer Pool and Spa Service, LLC. The business is doing very well and allows us to travel in the winter. I look forward to seeing all of you at the reunion! (07/20/09)
Doug Althauser   dougalthauser@yahoo.com Worthington, OH Since high school, I graduated from OU and made a career as a chemical dependency counselor. I lived in Honolulu and ran the drug treatment program for Kaiser Permanente in Hawaii. I adopted a son and found a new purpose in life being a single dad. Since the 2004 reunion, I returned to Ohio and to school. In 2008 I graduated from law school, passed the Ohio Bar and managed to get a job working for the state. We live in the Worthington School district, again, but in the area north of Worthington that was nothing but farmland and pastures back in ’79. My son will turn 12 this summer, and in the fall he will attend 7th grade at the Phoenix alternative school (on the west side of Perry). I keep myself busy picking up and letting go of various forms of exercise and creativity as well as travel (just returned from a trip to Cambodia- check out my pics on Facebook). (07/19/09)
Becky Amon Turrittin mbjte@zoominternet.net Medina, OH Great to catch up on all your bios! 30 years have flown by...

My husband Mike and I will be celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary in October. Have lived in Clintonville, Powell, Geneva, IL (suburb of Chicago) and currently in Medina for over 8 years. Graduated from The Ohio State University, was an elementary school teacher in Worthington for 9 years, then left teaching to be an at-home mom. Jake is entering his second year at the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD majoring in Aerospace Engineering~ I’m a proud Navy mom! Our son Taylor just graduated from High School and will be attending Butler University (great basketball!) in Indianapolis, IN. possibly pursuing business/pre-dentistry. Our daughter Emily will be a freshman in high school and looks forward to being a part of the auxiliary in Medina’s awesome competition marching band. I’ve been an active volunteer in my children’s schools and this year will be the Medina Band Parent President. I still love singing and am a part of our church’s music ministry in choir and as a soloist. Enjoy gardening, shopping (especially in Chicago), and taking our boat to warm destinations like Smith Mountain Lake, VA or Lake Keowee, SC. Love watersports! Fond memories from Worthington and a wonderful place to grow up!! Hoping to attend the reunion! (07/17/09)

Rich Byrnes   byrnes.rich@yahoo.com Ft. Myers, FL Since graduation from THE Ohio State University, I have worked in various Supply Chain/Logistics roles for Federated Department Stores, The Limited Inc., American Eagle Outfitters and currently Chico’s FAS (Chico’s, White House Black Market and Soma Brands). I married Barb after graduation and we will be celebrating our 25th anniversary in October. We are very proud of our two kids Amanda (21, Senior at Mercyhurst College) and R.J. (19, Sophomore at Slippery Rock University). Barb has easily adapted from being a “Stay-at-Home-Mom” to her new role as a “Stay-Over-at-the-Club wife.” We have a re-kindled interest in our golf game since moving to Ft. Myers and we would love to have guests in our empty nest for a “Weekend at Bernie’s.” I have a recording studio in the house so any of my old musician buddies that want to head south to jam are welcome too! Peace and I look forward to seeing you all. Go Steelers AND Pens! (07/17/09)
Marianne Bruening Feike mbruenin@columbus.rr.com Worthington, OH As I've seen so many of you write in your bio's, I can't believe it's been 30 years! Sure did fly by fast! I got married (young and dumb) in 1982 and was married for 11 years. I then was given the opportunity to live a carefree single life again and found that it's wasn't all that great, but had fun with it anyway. Then I was given a second chance when I married the love of my life in 1997, and we were blessed with the birth of our son Jake in 1999. I just might have the youngest child in our class, but it keeps us young! I had an 18 year career at Bank One (now Chase - nothing stays the same). I then took a few years off to be a stay at home mom with Jake, and am now working for Nationwide. I will be moving back to Worthington just three days before the reunion. Only coming from Hilliard, but it will be nice to be back home in Worthington. Looking forward to seeing everyone at the reunion. (07/14/09)
Anne Zanon White azanon5@gmail.com Virginia Beach, VA I graduated from OSU in 1982, married my best friend, Ray in 1984, worked various jobs, then was a stay at home mom for several years. In 1999, started baking and selling cookies, specialty cakes and wedding cakes from our home in Dublin. I felt blessed to be able to earn an income and use my creative abilities while still being available for my family. Earlier this year, my husband accepted a new position in Virginia Beach and moved there, while I stayed in Dublin so that our daughter could complete her senior year at Dublin Jerome. After about 10 years of doing cakes, I sold my business in June, 2009 and retired from the bakery business. I am currently enjoying getting to know the Hampton Roads area of Virginia, catching up with old friends, scrapbooking, reading books, and trying to figure out what my next career will be. My husband Ray and I have been married for 25 years and we have three kids, David (22), Jarrod (20) and Julie (18). The boys are still living in Dublin and working and our daughter has moved with us to Virginia to attend college. Sadly, I will be unable to attend the 30 year reunion due to our recent move but I know everyone will have a great time. I've enjoyed keeping in touch and reconnecting with others from the Class of '79 via Facebook. (07/12/09)

Since graduation, I spent my Freshman year at Florida Inst of Technology; transferred to OSU and graduated in Chem Engineering; started working for P&G in Cincinnati (Pringles, Jif); in 1993, transferred to Norwich New York for my short (?!?) stint in Pharmaceuticals, and ended up staying there 16 years. I am still working for Procter & Gamble (26 years) as Associate Director for R&D in our Health Care division. We live in Maineville, right next to Kings Island (and I mean right next to it -- the new rollercoaster is just across the creek behind our backyard). My wife Tavane (we met at Farrell's at Graceland) and I have been married 26 years. We have two daughters: Jen is a Senior at Gettysburg College, studying Japanese, and Laura is a Sophomore at Bowling Green State University, studying Music Education. Eric Burkey   eric.burkey61@gmail.com Tampa, FL Hello ’79 classmates, Well quite a bit has happened since 2004. My kids are both doing quite well. My 19 year old son, Bjorn, came to Worthington in 2006 and lived with my parents for a year. He attended James Kilbourne HS as a senior and graduated in ’07. Didn’t have any of the teachers I had, but did have a teacher of my youngest brother (Mrs. Graves, Speech!). My daughter is 13 and a 7th grade in Germany. I’m hoping that she will also spend a year in the USA when the time is right. As for me, my wife & I divorced in March of ’08 after 21 years of marriage. Hard for everyone, especially the kids. At that time, I resigned my position at The Steigenberger Grandhotel Petersberg, where I had been pastry chef for 15 years, and relocated to Tampa, Florida. I accepted the position as pastry chef at The Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay. It proved to be an interesting employer. Unfortunately, due to the present economic crisis, by position was eliminated. Hopefully all will work out in the end. I LOVE Tampa and also have a house, so am somewhat stuck here. Am definitely planning on attending the reunion. I haven’t been to a reunion since 1989, so will be exciting. Thanks to Facebook, I’ve found and re-met a lot of people. See you all on July 25th. (06/22/09)

Georgianne Koch Hitchens gtkoch@fuse.net Cincinnati, OH I've been married for 23 years to Tom, who I met at Ohio State right before we graduated. I moved to LA for a year but then came back here to Cincinnati where Tom was more gainfully employed than I was. Got married, got an MBA from Univ. of Cinti, worked at Great American Insurance in accounting until the second child came along and have been a SAHM ever since. Abby is going to high school at Lakota West (West Chester, OH) next year. Acckk - kind of a scary thought. Trent will be in 7th grade at the junior high. Tom works for Luxottica Retail (better known by their LensCrafters brand) in IT. I'm involved with our church, golf as much as I can, take care of all things domestic and mostly am the chauffeur. Last summer I had a part in a Community Theater production of "Anything Goes". First time on stage since the WHS production of "Carousel" in 1978. It was so much fun I'm doing it again this summer in "Bye, Bye, Birdie", along with both kids. If Tom weren't tone deaf it could be a total family affair. Thank goodness both kids inherited my musical genes! Looking forward to making my every 10th year appearance at the reunion. (05/26/09)
Linda Rudy Beck Lbrudy@earthlink.net Dublin, OH Here's my cryptic bio (if I use full sentences I'll run on forever...) Lately have run into Ann (White) Zanon, Chris (Shumway) Mortine, Wendy (Semans) Miehls, worked with Lee Bell a while; would love to reconnect with Doug Althauser, Brian Clark & Laurie (Clodefelter) Ladik! - Linda (Beck) Rudy (05/23/09)
Pat Laird   lairdgund12@yahoo.com Lewis Center, OH

I am looking forward to the 30th reunion this summer, but am also disapointed that this will be the last one that the Class of 79 has to itself. I like looking at the bios and see that they seem to pour in more rapidly as the reunions approach. I have been married to Micky Gundling (Class of 80) for almost 22 years now. We have four kids. Mark is a freshman at Ohio University. Danny is a junior at Bishop Watterson. Molly is a sophomore at Bishop Watterson and Sam is a fourth grader at St. Michael in Worthington. They are great kids. I have been with Glaxo SmithKline for almost 10 years, and was with Abbott Labs for 9 years before that. Micky just started teaching full time this past year at Worthingway and Worthington High School (I know you will understand if I don't immediately call it "Thomas") The irony of it all. Every now and then I have to drop off or pick someone or something up at Worthingway from Micky. It has not changed a bit! It looks like it did in 1973! I half expect Ron Balconi to come around the corner. I haven't been to see her at Worthington High yet, so don't know about the changes there. I hope to have an ice cold pop with classmates in July. Any Friday night Pre-reunion party plans? (05/23/09)

Tony Bull   heybull@yahoo.com Mason, OH

I've enjoyed reading everyone's bios and figured it was probably time to add mine. After college (Miami) I got the chance to see a lot of the country, living in Southern Cal., Texas, North Carolina and Ft. Lauderdale. I actually missed Ohio and moved back. 19 years ago I married Phillis DeVictor (Upper Arlington) and 14 years ago moved from Powell to Mason, not far from Kings Island. We have three daughters, Haley (18), Katie (16) and Carly (10). They are a joy (usually) and I couldn't wish for better kids. After many years selling medical equipment I have somehow ended up working in management at a hospital system in Cincinnati. I am also President of the Cincinnati Marlins, one of the nation's top competitive swimming teams. We were recently ranked 8th in the country and have had 24 athletes represent the US in the Olympic games. All three of my daughters swim, and the oldest, Haley, will be attending and swimming for the University of Maryland next fall.

I'm not sure if I'll be able to make the reunion. My entire family is still in Columbus and I do make it back a few times a year. Like other people have said, I still consider my high school friends to be my best friends. (05/21/09)

Randy Emmelhainz   randy@emmelhainz.net Alaskan Highway, AK Married 27 years to Jill (Fischer, '79 Upper Arlington) ... 7 children. Major life events since last reunion – me surviving cancer 2 years go (so far) and us losing our son James suddenly a year ago (who would be 17 now.) Son Rob (21) a senior at BGSU and daughter Nettie (19) a junior at Arizona St. Celia (25) in post-grad/doctoral prep at Texas A&M and Roger (23) supposedly finishing his Masters thesis at U. of Chicago. Maybe someday one of them will actually have full-time employment? I can still dream. Currently writing this from the Alaskan Highway and living in a 5th wheel RV with my wife Jill, younger children Jakob (12) and Anna (7). Doubtful I'll make it back to the lower-48 by reunion time. Probably closing out my current business as active contracts have dried up. May stay in Alaska if there’s anything interesting to do long-term. Mostly learning the lesson to not put off plans for the future that you could pursue today. That and full-time employment isn’t that great of an idea anyway. (05/10/09)
Liz Hall O'Connell lhall@emuaustralia.net San Diego, CA My husband and I moved from Milwaukee to San Diego in January and we are loving sunny southern California! We are both in the Shoe business. He is the CEO of a shoe company and I am the V.P. of Sales for Emu Australia, a sheepskin boot company. After moving around the country for my career in my 20’s and 30’s (Cincinnati, Seattle & New York), I met my husband. We just celebrated our 9th anniversary and I have 3 great step-daughters. Lyndsey graduated from Miami last year and is now in the shoe business in Cincinnati (shoes..it’s in the blood), Lauren is a junior at North Texas and Jordan is just finishing her freshman year at Baylor. Rusty and I both travel quite a bit on business but we are getting into the laid back California lifestyle when we are home. I have had fun, recently, catching up with old Worthington friends on facebook! Hoping to make the reunion this summer. (05/09/09)

Linwood Carneal   carneal@raynoradams.com Richmond, VA I moved back to Richmond in 1983 after attending OSU for 1-1/2 years and then graduating from Columbus State (CTI). I’ve been with my current company since December ’83. Started as a design engineer and now am President and Principal Owner. We design and build custom automation and packaging machinery geared to the consumer products industry. My biggest and proudest accomplishment to date is on March 31, 2009 I became a new dad. Marsha and I have been together for 18 years and decided we had played long enough and it was time to get busy. We are proud parents to a little boy, Chase. We spend our weekends at our cottage on the Chesapeake Bay where we boat, fish, play in the sand and have many great friends. (Any spare time we spend trying to catch up on our sleep). Hope to see everyone at the 30th reunion….I’ll be the one napping in the corner! (04/30/09)
Donora Craighead Carroll burghmom@gmail.com Pittsburgh, PA What have I been doing for the last 30 years? Twenty five-to-life for the attempted murder of my husband and a few of my children but I should be out on parole just in time for the reunion! Seriously, I only attended Worthington for a couple of years so I’m curious if anyone really remembers me. If you do….drop me a line, I’d love to hear from you! “So what have I really been doing,” you ask? I’ve been living in Steeler Country for the last twenty-something years. I am married, have five wonderful children, and two of the most adorable grandchildren you’ve ever laid eyes on! And when I’m not doting on them, I keep myself busy with school board stuff, VFW stuff, and teaching Sunday school. Plus I work (at Carnegie Mellon University) with 4 of the most amazing people in the world who are raising funds to get me out of jail! Life is good! (04/29/09)

Jan Morgan Sherman jmorg32@hotmail.com Northport, MI Wow-30 yrs!! and WOW-we're all going to be hitting the 50 yr. mark too - YIKES. Just a little up to date info. I have been married 27 yrs. this Oct. to Mark and we have 2 great boys. Evan is 16 and a Junior. A total riot to be around, he is always smiling and very outgoing. Loves every sport and is in every club, etc. Bryan is 22 and is a Junior at Mich. State Univ. He is in the Hospitality business program. He will be doing an internship this summer in Lenox, Mass. and work at the Wheatleigh Inn. Then hopefully this Fall, he will be in Oslo, Norway to study abroad for his degree. That is way cool. Mark runs his own mechanical contracting business here in Northport, Mich., where we have lived for 9 yrs. I worked in the lab at our local hospital here until it ended up closing 5 yrs. ago. I have a Medical Asst. Degree and graduated from Northwestern Michigan College in Traverse City in 1982. I have had different jobs working w/drs. throughout the yrs. In the last 6 yrs. I have run and operated my own farmers market ( yes, I said farmers market) here at our farm where we live in Northport. Its Marks family owned farm and we keep very busy during the summer mos. We have acres of cherry trees that we shake off the trees with large machines and then they go into huge tanks for the semis to come & pick up then deliver to the processing plants. When you eat that cherry yogurt or juice, they may be from our farm!! I also sell fresh produce from our huge garden and also we have many other fruit trees, raspberries & blackberries. I really do enjoy this and people are now so into fresh/organic foods, that I have hired extra people to help me. Mark & I really don’t get to enjoy the beautiful summers, but when we do have time we love to be on the water with our boat or with friends and also take a relaxing camping trip to some of the wonderful camping sites around this area. I rarely get back to Worthington as my parents also live here in Northport. But do miss all my old friends from high school. Hope I can get to the reunion and catch up with everyone. I have enjoyed reading the bios and I hope this finds everyone healthy & happy!!(3/14/09)

Linda Zorich Thole linda_zorich@sbcglobal.net Hilliard, OH It isn’t possible that we graduated from high school 30 years ago! Unbelievable! I’ve enjoyed reading everyone’s bios. Buzzy and I will have been married 22 years this July and are living in Hilliard, Ohio. We have 2 daughters. Jenni is a freshman at University of Dayton studying Spanish education. I guess she wants to follow in my footsteps with the education route. Carissa is a sophomore at Hilliard Davidson HS where she is a member of the marching band. Her wind symphony will be performing at our old alma mater next weekend, but I’m bummed that I won’t be able to attend. I’ll be in Cincinnati caring for my ill mother. This year Carissa’s trying lacrosse for the first time. That’s been a new learning experience for us. It will be fun to go to the Galipault Tournament in Worthington this spring. I’ve been teaching since graduating from Otterbein in ’83. The past 18 years I’ve taught 2nd grade in Hilliard. Buzzy just took a new job with a company that’s based in England so I’m hoping to tag along on a business trip across the pond this summer. Not sure if I’ll be able to make it to the reunion this summer, but I’d love to hear from you. (02/28/09)
Steven Spung   steve11sjs@gmail.com Alpharetta, GA After high school I went to Ohio State University. After graduating with a business degree I began working for Cooker Restaurant Corp. Moved to Atlanta in 1993 with the company and to be closer to my family. I left Cooker in 1997 and went into business for myself. I have been in business for myself here in Atlanta ever since. I am married with 2 children, Carson is a junior in high school this year and Taylor is a sophomore. Can't wait to see everyone again at the 30th year reunion. I don't get back to Ohio much. When I do, it is great to see all of the old hang outs. I still consider my high school buddies as the closest friends I have. My kids cant believe that I still talk to the old crowd after all these years. (02/27/09)

Grant Williams   grant.williams@lindsay.com New Albany, OH I graduated from Ohio State University in the Collage of Agriculture in 1985. I majored in Agriculture Mechanization and Systems, Agronomy Turf and Ag Economics. Believe it or not, after college, I was selling farm equipment in three states as equipment representative. In 1986, I Married my love Dianne, who had been dating the last three years. I decided that job was not right and started a Turf Lawn sprinkler company called Forever Green Irrigation. That lasted 3 summers until the city put a watering ban on during the summer of 1988 and put me out of business. I then was hired to start an irrigation division of a local pump distributor called Central Pump. During those six years I became a certified Irrigation Designer and Auditor through the Irrigation Association. My wife and I had a baby girl, Catherine Elizabeth Rachel Williams, in 1990. She has since graduated from New Albany High School in 2008, and has a 2nd degree Black belt in Taekwondo. She is a four time state champ in sparing and has been in the top ten in the world twice and came in third place in 2007. She is the head instructor at J&B Black Belt Academy in Gahanna. So I never had to worry about boys messing with her!

I switched jobs in 1995 to another irrigation distributor, Irrigation Supply, as a Irrigation specifier and sales. During that time I finally had a second child, Daniel Benjamin James Williams. I know two middle names. If you want to know why, then ask me at the 30th year reunion. Danny is just a typical 8 year old boy. In 2006, I change careers, as a Regional Manager for Lindsay Corp. I cover the NE of the country plus the eastern part of Canada, so I am not home much. Yes this job is agriculture related and Lindsay manufactures Zimmatic Center Pivots (irrigation for farmers). One of my secrets from my high school classmates, is that I always wanted to be a farmer. The next best thing is working with them and I love it!!!

Myra Pumphrey Chakroff jmds05@comcast.net Glen Allen, VA Hello Everyone! It is great to read all the bios to see what you have been doing! I have been a Physical Therapist for 26 years and have been married to Jerry, also a P.T., for 22 years. We have worked together for most of our careers and are now business partners in a private practice. I also teach P.T.’s at a local University. We have 2 kids, David and Sarah. They keep us constantly entertained….it is now particularly fun to re-live those High School memories through David. We love to travel whenever we can and the kids love their sports, including whitewater kayaking (Jerry and I attempted the sport and nearly drowned, so we now watch them ‘surf’ from the shore!). Lately, everyone around here seems to be studying, so I am back at school too, working on my Clinical Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Both of my parents (Mama Chak and Big Chak) continue to live in Worthington and I love to go back and visit. I especially like to go ‘downtown’. I did go into the old High School recently which was fun.

Not a week goes by that I don’t think about the great times I had in those High School years. I hope to come to the 30th reunion and catch up with many of you! Myra (02/10/09)

I am owner of Circa Music in Dublin, and have been writing music for television, film and radio for 20 years. If you own a television you've heard hundreds of my compositions. Before that I was either in bands (Orion 1976-1982) or working in music retail. My studio, built in 1999, is on Bradenton Ave in Dublin and can be seen at www.circamusic.com.

I probably have the 2 oldest children in the graduating class, Aaron now 28 and Marc 26. They are both much smarter and better looking than me. Duh! I just married in January of 2009 to Jennifer Agnew. We live in Old Beechwold now. We love to travel the world, drink Italian wine, and will probably start a family. Wow, I can't believe I just wrote that.

I can be found at Facebook, you know, place where people write tiny quirky messages to each other all day long. (01/29/09)

Jackie Allgood Stevens elfwench@att.net Indianapolis, IN Since graduation I have been married twice. I produced two children from the first marriage, Tamara and Robert. The marriage was abusive. The second marriage was the love of my life. After 14 years together, 10 of which we were married, he found someone else and left me last year, leaving me on my own for the first time in my life.

2007 was a period of hardship and much growth. Having been diagnosed in 2006 with late onset Friedreich's Ataxia, a slowly progressive neuromuscular disease, I am now one of Jerry's Kids. After my husband left, I applied for and was approved for SSI, to the grand total of $424 a month, though I continued to look for work. During that time my son had a terrible car accident that nearly killed him and my daughter had her first baby, Akane.

My son miraculously recovered and my granddaughter is beautiful. And on April 21, 2008 I started working full time (for the first time ever!) for AT&T as a High Speed Internet Customer Self Install agent.

We have a 9-year-old daughter, Kelsey, and a 120-lb. Golden Retriever named Mack. We live about 1.5 miles from the ocean and love hanging out at the beach and kayaking on the bays. Haven't been back for a reunion since the 10-year -- looking forward to seeking lots of folks!

Brian Belskie   bbelskie@insight.rr.com Westerville, OH Since the last reunion in 1999, I became married to Gayle, and we purchase a very nice house on the 11th green in the Little Turtle community in Westerville. Our house is regularly pelted by golf balls, but they become mine permanently as my adopted white German shepherd, "Tess" tends to remind folks that our yard is definitely out-of bounds. The large quantities of acquired balls come in handy as I usually return them to other destinations in my golf outings to never be seen again. In February of 2000 we were blessed with our son Matthew Abram. Shortly thereafter, I went back to Franklin University full-time to resume my studies with majors in Business Administration and Organizational Leadership. I finally earned my degree in August 2002 and graduated with honors. I was determined to have it completed before my daughter Kiera Joy was born, but she beat me to it a few weeks ahead of schedule with her birth date being August 1st 2002 I work as a Regional Account Executive for a UPS Supply Chain Solutions business unit, UPS Mail Innovations. I like what I do very much, however, my children are my greatest responsibility and pleasure in life. When not involved with the family, I like to work on projects around the the house and yard, ride my Suzuki Katana, take mini vacations, and my summer favorite...a peaceful nap during a NASCAR broadcast on Sunday afternoons. I try to watch the whole race because I am in a NASCAR Internet racing league, but I usually end up sleeping most of the time! I still have the intention of training for and completing a full 26.2 mile marathon. Hopefully I can say that I found the time the dedication to have done that by our 30th reunion.

Dave Saliaris   dave.saliaris@liebert.com Lewis Center, OH I'm living in Central Ohio near the Polaris Amphitheater. I have one son Blake who is into every sport a kid could play. I have coached most of his teams figuring I needed to payback to all the people that helped me along in sports as a youth. The 25th reunion was a great time. I enjoyed talking to all that attended. Thanks to all involved in the planning. The Ruckmore never saw us coming. The bar tenders are still in shock.

Debbie Hume Shay dlshay@adelphia.net Strongsville, OH I am currently living in a suburb of Cleveland and have been here for 5 years. I am divorced and have two wonderful children, Tracee, 14, who is definetly a teenager and Tyler, 12, who wants to compete and play every sport invented. I am currently running a small company, EASE@Work, that provides employee assistance services to companies throughout Ohio. Prior to living in Ohio, we lived in Ft. Lauderdale for 13 years. (Yes, I am still trying to understand why I left such beautiful weather.) We have taken up skiing and snow boarding in order to embrace the winters. Both my children like Ohio but desire to move to warmer climate for college. I will only be able to attend Friday night's activities. I can't wait to see everyone.

Michele Davis LaValle MichLDavis@aol.com Peachtree City, GA I left Worthington in 1983 to marry my husband Kim and move to California. From there we went on to move to Chicago, Indianapolis, New Hampshire, Wisconsin, Michigan and are currently living outside of Atlanta. In between all of this moving, I gave birth to quintuplets in 1988. They were very small and none were expected to live through the night. Here I am 16 years later with 4 surviving miracle babies (and one angel in heaven), that are the best things in my life! My husband and I will be married 21 years this October and I am re-living my teenage years through my four teens, Jessica, Emily, Phillip and Natalie. It is currently a real challenge trying to teach them all how to drive! Hope to see you all at the reunion. I haven't missed one yet!

Susan Tehan Vilardo sftehan@wi.rr.com Waukesha, WI It's Tuesday night...No!Wednesday morning before the reunion. I should be in bed getting my beauty rest, but I so enjoyed reading everyone's bio. tonight & thought I should check-in. Life's been good since grad. day '79. John & I just celebrated our 18th wedding anniversary in the Lake of the Ozarks with our kids and Jenifer (Hausser) Blair's wonderful family. Since we've been married, we've lived in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Florida and now Wisconsin, where we hope to stay (especially since Julie & Rob Grim and their children live so closeby)! We've been running from the law. Kidding- It's great being back in the midwest, and we've been here since '95. We have 3 children: Lauren (15), Sean (13)and Nick (11). I'm tutoring this summer, but mostly vacationing & traveling with our youngest's baseball team. I help teach 1st & 2nd graders math and reading throughout the school year, and have a couple of hours left in the afternoon each day before the kids get home, to exer! cise and have lunch with my friends or hubby, when he's not traveling. I try hard to find that balance in the midst of our busy world. John and I are looking forward to getting reacquainted with everyone in a few days. Can't wait!

Tammy Hampton Jarrett hat1961@aol.com Westerville, OH I continue to teach Art in the Columbus Public Schools. Currently at Indianola Middle School around OSU Campus area. I received my Masters in Education with Certificates to be a principal in middle or high school. Imagine that!!!! I'll pursue that later when my children are older. My children are ages 14 (Holly) who is the opposite of me with the exception of being artistic. She needs to go back to the "60's with the hippies. Peace and Love man. OH Boy! Sorry how low can hip-huggers go? And "NO" she does not have her belly-button pieced, but she thinks that would be "So Cool". I told if she wants to do that, she has to wait until she's out of the house and I don't have to look at it! What a challenge and it's just the begining. God help me! My son Cody-good looking boy, athletic, artistic and a good student, yeah! He is 11 years old and he is a great Baseball player (1st base). Here's good news, I remarried my husband Rick after 41/2 years of divor! ce. God works very mysteriously in our lives, but he has a plan for all of us. Most of the time we don't know what that plan is, but we must have faith, patience and perserverance. Everybody is healthy for the most part. I still teach aerobics, five classes a week at the YMCA in Powell, Ohio. I just have to keep on moving. I'm afraid if I stop, I won't be able to move again. Oohh and this age thing. I hate it!!! Don't get me started. Ha Ha! I hope everyone enjoys the reunion. Please e-mail me with your response of likes and dislikes. This would be helpful! God Bless, Tammy

Matthew Brennan   MJBBrennan@aol.com Loveland, OH I thought I would drop a note to my fellow classmates since I will miss my first re-union. I am still in Cincinnati, married to Susan and have 4 children ages 21 (stepchildren ) to 4. On September 11, 2001 (yes-that is the date) my wife and I found out that our youngest-Blake was diagnosed with autism. Upset with the lack of services available for treatments, we founded the Cincinnati Center for Autism (CCFA) in October, 2003. The Center provides treatment to children with ASD and assist families in navigating the complex field of children with disabilities. Upon learning of this, I decided to embark on a lifelong goal of climbing the worlds highest mountains. After stints in Russia, Africa, Argentina, Ecuador, Peru and all points in between, I am heading to the big one-Mt. Everest in spring 2005. Under the guidance of veteran mountaineer Andy Politz (WHS 78'), my goal is to raise $1,000,000 to give to the developmental disability division of Childrens Hospital in Cincy along with my own non-profit the CCFA. You can follow us at www.everestforautism.com. We are well on our way. I am still gainfully employed-I own my own business(es) building houses, developing land and digging ditches. I have an office in Columbus as well and 85 people to make payroll for. It has been a wild ride-I am not sure I would do it again. I have great memories of WHS-Evening Street Elementary, Worthingway and all points in between. I count my high school buddies as my closest friends-I think that means something. I hope this posting finds the reader doing well. It has been a short 25 years and I will miss being at the re-union. (06/28/04)

We moved here to Colombia as missionaries over three years ago. We are the founders and directors of a new Youth With A Mission base here in this strategic area where Colombia, Peru, and Brazil share borders. Our ministry focus is to provide training for the hundreds of native and indigenous pastors who live and work in the small villages up and down the Amazon river and its tributaries. My main responsabilities are home schooling our two children, Wesley-14 and Emily-11, supervising the kitchen and cooking for the 12 staff that work with us, covering all the bilingual secretarial needs and translating for teams that come from the States. I really would like to make it to Wothington for the reunion next year, but if I can't I would love to hear from some of you. (7/17/03)
Sarah Knox   sarah.knox@marquette.edu Whitefish Bay, WI Hmmm, let's see . . . it's been a while. I did my undergraduate work at the University of Virginia, and then taught high school English in Howard County, Maryland for 11 years. During that time, I married . . . and divorced. Eventually I decided that a career change was in order, so pursued a doctorate in counseling psychology at the University of Maryland. I graduated from Maryland with my Ph.D. in 1999, after completing a one-year internship at OSU's Counseling and Consultation Services in 1998-99. I've been a faculty member here at Marquette University in Milwaukee since 1999, and enjoy very much what I do. We have an excellent program, great faculty and students, and I am fortunate to be able to teach, do research, and pursue some clinical work as well. I still whack the fuzz off of tennis balls as often as I can, and now also sing regularly in an Episcopal choir. No kids, but a furry feline friend who is great buddy. (6/24/03)
