There aren't
any Inland Lakes here, however there are a few sacred ponds. The Boating in the
Islands on the Pacific is excellent and is a haven for diving and whale watching.
Fishing for Marland as well as others is a favorite pass time. Outrigger canoeing
is available on all the islands, (Five dollars at last report for a run off Wakaki
Beach on Oahu). Local Marinas are available and if you shop a little you will
find some real bargains for that special fishing trip, dinner cruise, submarine
ride or diving, snuba (air hose) or snorkeling excursion. Maui and Kauai
have spectacular water falls. These are best viewed by helicopter. There aren't
